Artpark
Known as one of Western New York's premier music and theater destinations, Artpark sits atop 150 acres of park overlooking the Niagara River Gorge. The venue features a 2,400-seat main stage theater and a seating lawn with the capacity for 1,800 more. Artpark is home to Broadway, big band, orchestra and jazz performances, free concerts in its outdoor amphitheater, and also features historical sites, picnic areas, hiking trails, fishing docks, and a plethora of children's activities. In the summer months, Artpark hosts Tuesdays in the Park, Wednesdays on the Gorge, and the BPO Summerfest.

Broadway Market
Since 1888, the Broadway Market has been known for unique products and personal service, with more than 40 meat stands, poultry stands, produce counters, bakeries, delis, candy stands and restaurants. Buffalo Fire Department's Historic Fireboat
A National Historic Landmark, the E. M. Cotter, Buffalo's Fireboat, is the oldest active fireboat in the world. It was built in Elizabeth, New Jersey and arrived in Buffalo November 6, 1900. Built and commissioned during an era when Buffalo's waterfront and port were booming, the Cotter has been an invaluable asset of fire protection for the numerous warehouses, grain elevators and other facilities that line Buffalo's shores. After 105 years the Cotter continues serving the citizens and properties of Greater Buffalo, more as a floating museum, visiting ports on Lakes Erie and Ontario.

Chautauqua Institution
The Chautauqua Institution is a center for the arts, education, religion and recreation in a lakeside Victorian village situated in a beautiful, secure setting. The full program takes place during a nine-week summer season, late June to the end of August.

Colonel William Bond House
This 1824 National Register Home was constructed one year before the opening of the Erie Canal and stands as one of the oldest houses in Lockport. It has 12 furnished Empire style rooms. Closed holidays.

Colored Musicians Club
The Colored Musicians Club is the only remaining African American club of its kind in the United States. In 1999, it was designated a historical preservation site. Currently, the Club is promoting historical research and the preservation of jazz in Buffalo. Members offer free jazz lessons to community youth, and hold a jam session at the club on Sunday evenings.

Erie Canal Harbor
Learn about Buffalo's roots and experience a self-guided walking tour of the recently restored Erie Canal Harbor area! During the 19th and early 20th centuries, the harbor functioned as the bustling "western terminus" of the Erie Canal. Visitors can experience many elements of the original Erie Canal Harbor, including the refurbished "Commercial Slip," "Central Wharf," "Whipple Truss" Foot Bridge, cobblestone "Commercial Street," and the excavated foundations of several canal era buildings. Forest Lawn Cemetery and Garden Mausoleum
Breathtaking 269-acre cemetery designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, founded in 1849. Outstanding examples of funerary art including the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Blue Sky Mausoleum. On the State and National registers of historic places. Forest Lawn also features the final resting sites of several famous African Americans including the gravesites of Mary B. Talbert and Reverend J. Edward Nash. President Millard Fillmore and Seneca Nation orator Red Jacket are also buried here. Guided tours in summer. Winter 7:30am-5pm; Summer 7:30am-7pm. Fort George

Campus includes the 1800's Kenan House, gallery and gift shop, Taylor Theater, education building, sports arena and formal gardens. More than 50 programs and special events each year. Lt. Col. Matt Urban Memorial
The enemy nicknamed Lt. Col. Matt Urban "The Ghost" during World War II because although they wounded him, they could never kill him. He led his troops through six campaigns in North Africa, Sicily, Belgium, France and Germany. The Guinness Book of World Records lists Urban as "the Most Combat-Decorated Soldier in American History." Urban's medal collection is extensive (29 medals for bravery) and includes seven purple hearts. On July 19, 1980, then President Jimmy Carter presented him his long awaited Medal of Honor, and in March, 1995 Lt. Colonel Matt Urban was laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery. A monument honoring Urban, who grew up on Buffalo's east side was recently erected in front of the Erie County Rath Building in downtown Buffalo.

Millard Fillmore House
A National Historic Landmark house, which President Millard Fillmore helped build and lived in from 1826-1830. It contains furnishings and artifacts connected with Millard Fillmore's life. Martins Fantasy Island
